With SV Meander around Spitsbergen! We could start into the journey with a couple of beautiful, mostly sunny days as we went up north into Forlandsund, Kongsfjord and Krossfjord. Then the weather changed, becoming more grey, wet and windy. But anyway, we continued northwards, and even further to the north, and eastwards into Hinlopen Strait, followed by southeastern Svalbard, namely Barentsøya and Edgeøya, before rounding the south cape.
The weather didn’t always make it easy for us, but again and again we managed to be at the right place in the right time. And so was the wildlife …
